Networking Even After Graduation
In December 2007, graduates founded the "Club der Alumni der PFH e. V." This Club acts as a platform for former and current students of the University and is designed to promote professional and private networking – across all study locations and study programmes. In addition, the Club is committed to providing moral and material support for teaching, research, and studying conditions. The Alumni Club currently comprises around 200 members from the campus locations at Göttingen, Berlin and Stade and the 13 distance-learning centres throughout Germany and Austria. The Chairman is Prof. Dr. Voss, a graduate from Göttingen, and the Vice-Chairman is Thomas Wurl, a graduate from Stade.
In order to serve former students better and to optimise communication, PFH has set up a central reference point and made it available to the Club. Mr Sebastian Röske has been attending to contact with alumni since September 2016. Together with alumni of the University, she plans regular get-togethers, events and practice-oriented talks. Over and above this, she is responsible for preparing and issuing an Alumni Newsletter, which includes information on the alumni network and PFH. Mr Röske will be pleased to receive suggestions or requests and to engage in intensive exchanges.
